We will never pretend our number is the official one.
Round Keeper computes a handicap from your rounds: how many strokes over par you go in an average round, across every course you play — the rated ones and the municipal track down the road that has never published a slope. It is shown everywhere as our estimate, because that is what it is.
If you carry a real index from a handicapping authority, enter it and we will keep the two apart, permanently and visibly.
